After college, I sold ski boots in Vail.  There, I learned two things:  first, if you're going to sell something it helps to be funny and second, if you put someone in the wrong boots they'll come back and yell at you for ruining their vacation.  

Both are good lessons for advertising.

I was a Copywriter and Creative Director at Goodby, Silverstein and Partners for 20 years. I worked on Adobe, Comcast, Gratifi, Cisco, HP (twice), Sprint,  Haagen Dazs, Denny’s, National Geographic, Yahoo, Hyundai, Rolling Rock and other brands I can’t even remember. I’ve been recognized by all the major award shows and have even been nominated for an Emmy, but my favorite accolade was winning “Employee of the Year” at GSP in 2018. That got me a five week motorcycle tour across Africa. I’d take that over Cannes any year.

Now I’ve gone freelance and I’m excited for my next adventure.
